About Me I guess this is where I tell you all about myself and you decide if you want to read it or not.
I have recently diagnosed myself with adult A.D.D., however, I have probably always had it but just realized that it is not normal to have 8000 projects, dinner, laundry, the vacuum, baths and on-line banking all going on while on the phone coordinating a carpool pick-up. Or do I just have symptoms of motherhood???
Any way I have 2 1/2 children. Makenna "almost" 9, Jake "almost" 6, and the “1/2? " is my "almost"19 year old stepson Kole. (By the way I feel too young to say that.)
I am a true New Yorker that currently resides in Georgia after spending 8 years in California (with a small portion of that time in Washington state). I lived in the same town in N.Y. for 27 years until I moved in with my husband! However, if not for that, I would not have met and made the AMAZING friends I have all over the country!
Another symptom of A.D.D. is being all over the place within my own mind, (which comes out in my writing!) Or… is that a symptom of being female???
I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and a Certified personal Trainer (my friends and clients often refer to me as, “Sergeant”, “Drill Instructor”, “exercise nazi”, and “_itch” while working out). But my true passion is doing creative “projects”. I dabble in a lot of different things. I am definitely a “Jack-ie of all trades and master of none”. Although I must say that I’ve gotten pretty good at this crystal stuff and I love it! I also like to cook, (I just wish I had a grunt to clean up after me.- probably to clean up after any of my projects), play bartender, ( I make awesome martinis), entertain, sew, (definitely an amateur at that), and I love home improvement projects. All of the men in the neighborhood love to come and borrow MY tools (not my husbands). Thanks to my dad I have the most awesome Power Tools. (thanx dad!) I also enjoy making cards and invitations.
My husband gets crazy that I have a million and one things all going at any given time - but hey isn’t that how Martha got rich and famous??? (lets forget about the jail time)
I am a very passionate and candid person with a somewhat “colorful” dialogue. (this you will find out during a very brief conversation with me) But I have a big heart and I always mean well, so never be offended by anything I may or may not say.
